Milford Wayne Donaldson, a leading preservation architect formerly based in San Diego, had this futuristic house
moved more than 100 miles from San Diego to Idyllwild with a five vehicle escort headed by the state police. The 520 square foot house, called a
Futuro, was designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen, and is one of 20 built in the 1960s. After landing in the mountain community, the natives were found to be friendly.
