CIA Director Wants To Limit Internet Access

Former CIA Director George J. Tenet is calling for restricting access to the Internet. At a conference in Washington, DC he stated that access to networks might need to be limited to those who can show they take security seriously. The press was specifically excluded from the event. Security Über Alles? Gee, let's create the Secure Telecommunications Universal Protection Intelligence Department (STUPID) to issue access licenses to those who are sufficiently serious. Tenet probably needs a new job these days anyway.
