"The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."

He didn't, but it is still a good observation on San Francisco weather. Which is why the latest announcement from the city by the bay seems a tad peculiar. SBC Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, has decided to install 27 solar panels to produce electricity for the ballpark. Huh? Each panel produces about 167 watts. The stadium consumes about 4 million watts to stage a night game. Wouldn't this be a bit more practical for the Arizona Diamondbacks?
